This is the first book in the DoGoody and Fleabins series.
DoGoody’s doghouse may look ordinary to his family, the Buttons. But inside there is an elevator that leads down to a secret underground mansion with all kinds of fantastic rooms in it. And it has just the thing to make the rooms even more fantastic—DoGoody’s best friend, Fleabins. That sneaky, super stylish, fun-loving pest skips around the mansion causing trouble from the Ballroom to the Amusement Park Room. And Fleabins causes even more trouble above ground, from the Buttons’ backyard, to the Good Doggy Dog School…all the way to the public library.

I’m K. Frances, an author of childrens’ books as well as a physician specializing in pathology. And most importantly I’m mom to my three wonderful young adult children.
We live in Los Angeles, in the same neighborhood where I grew up, I live in an old house filled with dogs, all rescues. Two of them are big, silly, ridiculous Afghan hounds, but they are not the first…I grew up with a big, silly, ridiculous Afghan hound, Sinbad. Here I am with Sinbad at age four. As you can see, I am at my wits end, probably thinking something like, “What to do with this big, silly, ridiculous hound?
I know! When I grow up I’ll write stories about him!”
And so, I decided to do that. I’m excited to announce my first book, Sir DoGoody Button and Fleabins the Great…Troublemaker will be available soon!
